Liberty Ship is an indie pop group from Nottingham, United Kingdom, centred on Marc Elston, who writes, sings and plays guitar in the band. Elston was previously one half of the late 1980s and early 1990s indie pop noise duo Bulldozer Crash. With Liberty Ship, he forms a full band and continues in an indie pop style that recalls The Byrds.
