Lewis Garland is a singer and performer from Grand Rapids, United States, born in 1922 and died in 1969. He is associated with pop, traditional pop and vocal jazz, and he performs with The Gumm Sisters, The Vitaphone Kiddies and the Meglin Kiddies.
He is also described as an acoustic and folk singer-songwriter. With his group, Lewis Garland and The Kett Rebellion, he appears at festivals including Glastonbury 2008, Warwick Folk Festival 2008 and The Big Green Gathering 2007. The group also headlines venues such as Warwick Arts Centre, South Hill Park Arts Centre and the Electro-acoustic Club.
Garland and The Kett Rebellion also support acts including Bowerbirds, Lau, Shearwater, Devon Sproule, Faustus and Lou Rhodes. Their songs are noted for depth and complexity, with lyrics described as moving between witty and poignant.
