Lester Clayton

Lester Clayton is an acoustic act with a backing band. He begins writing songs as a last-minute A-level project and goes on to build a live profile through performance and regular gigging. The act plays around 250 shows over two years and supports artists including Pete Doherty, Just Jack and Two Spot Gobi.

Clayton and his band also run two weekly acoustic showcase nights, giving performers a place to play in front of record-label and industry contacts. At the time described, the act is recording its first full album, while two music videos and a documentary are also in production.
