Leo Stannard

Leo Stannard is a British acoustic and indie artist from Leicester. He starts playing guitar at the age of nine and develops his own original sound from a background shaped by artists including Damien Rice, Bon Iver and Ben Howard. His work also sits within singer-songwriter, folk and funk-influenced territory.

He is discovered by his manager, Mark Murdoch, after performing an acoustic session with RTTV and singing an original song called “Please Don’t”. Stannard also writes and performs his own material under the name AR/CO.

His first EP, Notions, comes out in 2014. He also performs alongside Maverick Sabre, Tom Odell, Rae Morris and Lewis Mokler.
