Crowned as the "queen of dancehall", Daiane, aka Lei Di Dai "from São Paulo's eastside, original blackchild from the gueto", is mashing up more and more every possible and impossible location. Her message is simple: Unity to fight against babylon. For daianne, who has been 10 years pon the road and influenced by good music, reggae means liberation, harmony and love. Believing in diversity, the queen of dancehall spreads her message live on stage longside the backing band QG Imperial, and also with many brasilian and international soundsystems and artists. Lei Di Dai was also invited to be part of the diaspora riddim cd produced by digitaldubs nelson meirelles & mpc (Rio de Janeiro), with many other international singers. Seen at youtube by ricardo cruz, the main editor of the brasilian rolling stone magazine, Lei Di was featured with an exclusive article on the third edition of the magazine, which helped her a lot to promote the work. The newspaper "finally" published an interview, more bookings start to come up and reggae music is getting it´s so deserved space. jah bless!
