Left For Red
Left For Red are a four-piece heavy metal group formed in 2009, with members drawn from Groove Sadistic, ShakeDown and Viable Truth. They are based in the West Midlands and play a blend of punk, metal and pop, alongside a heavier sound described as drawing on a wide range of influences.
Style and influences
The band’s musical references include Pantera, Deftones, Tool, Rush, Alter Bridge and Strapping Young Lad. Their songs combine heavy metal with punk and pop elements, giving their material a direct and varied sound.
Releases
In May 2011, Left For Red release their fourth EP, Left For Red Vol 001 - Empty Shell. The release is a three-track demo and includes the single “Empty Shell”.
Live activity
Left For Red play with a range of other bands from the West Midlands across different genres, and perform at venues in the region. At the time described in the available information, the band works on a follow-up recording after the 2011 EP.
