Left Boy is the stage name of Ferdinand Sarnitz, an Austrian rapper, singer and producer from Wien, Austria. He is born in 1988 and is associated with the ESC Vienna All Stars. His music spans hip hop, electro, drum and bass, dubstep, pop rap and power pop.

Career

Left Boy releases his first mixtape, The Second Coming, as a free download in December 2010. In mid-2011, he begins making music videos for all of the songs from that release. He later becomes a signed artist and issues the album Permanent Midnight, along with several singles.

He cites Wu-Tang Clan, Oxmo Puccino, De La Soul, Atmosphere, Ugly Duckling, Daft Punk, Édith Piaf, Nina Simone, Oumou Sangaré and Gipsy Kings as inspirations.
