Leeroy Thornhill is a British electronic musician from Barking, United Kingdom, born in 1968. He is known for his work with The Prodigy and for projects including Hyper and Smash Hifi.

Career

Thornhill joins The Prodigy after meeting Liam Howlett at a local rave club, alongside Keith Flint. In the group’s early live shows, he and Flint serve as dancers, helping define the band’s stage presence in the rave scene. Thornhill also acts as an occasional live keyboardist for the band.

He leaves The Prodigy in 2000, saying he has little to do in the live shows as Flint takes on more vocal duties and the music becomes more band-oriented. Thornhill remains in contact with the group afterwards and later works as a DJ at large venues, where he plays live-mixed Prodigy classics. He also appears on live shows with Hyper.

Other work

Outside The Prodigy, Thornhill releases EPs under the names Longman and Flightcrank. These projects do not achieve major success. He is associated with breakbeat and electronic music, and is described as a British electronic musician.

Thornhill is born in Barking and raised in Braintree. He grows up as a fan of football and James Brown. He is 6 foot 7 inches tall and his dance style is described as a technical running on the spot.
