Lebrosk
Lebrosk is a DJ and producer whose style grows out of the early 1990s big beat and breakbeat scenes. He cites Fatboy Slim, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Cut La Roc and The Freestylers among the acts that shape his interest in funk-oriented dance music.
Promotions and residencies
He works with Hayz in a partnership and residency that leads to Headspin Promotions, a project focused on funkier breaks, house and hip hop. As a DJ, he plays in London and Brighton bars, on boat parties on the River Thames, and at North London warehouse parties.
Releases and radio
Lebrosk makes bootlegs and mashups that receive plays on radio shows and in clubs and bars internationally. His first official release appears in March 2010, a collaboration with Rory Hoy on Warriorz, Kid Stretch’s record label. He also presents a monthly show on Ramp FM, where he plays breaks, nu-skool, house, mashups and bootlegs. Guest mix contributors on the show include The Basement Freaks, The Breakbeat Junkie, DJP, Kid Stretch, Fuzzbox Inc, DJ Prosper and Audit.
International bookings
He has three bookings in Romania over a 12-month period, including two support sets for A-Skillz, and also plays at Club Midi in Cluj.
Associated artists
His work receives support from Nick Thayer, Tim Beatvandal, DJ Badboe and Kid Stretch.
