Lauren Alaina is an American singer, songwriter and actress from Rossville, United States. She is associated with contemporary country, country, dance and pop, and releases music through Big Loud Records and 19 Recordings, Inc.

Career

Alaina is the runner-up on the tenth season of American Idol. Her debut studio album is Wildflower, and her second album is Road Less Traveled. The title track of Road Less Traveled gives her first number one on the Country Airplay chart.

She later reaches a second number one with Kane Brown on the duet “What Ifs”, a collaboration with a former classmate. The song simultaneously tops five Billboard charts. Alaina also appears on Dancing with the Stars, where she places fourth with partner Gleb Savchenko.
