Laura Groves is an English musician from Bradford, now based in London, who first releases music under the name Blue Roses before using her own name. Her work sits in folk, folk pop and folk rock, with a background that also places her within indie and singer-songwriter circles.

Groves begins releasing music as Blue Roses and later issues work under her own name. The Thinking about Thinking EP comes out in 2013, followed by the Committed Language EP in 2015.
