Laura and the Tears is a project led by Laura Welsh. It begins as an acoustic three-piece and later expands into a five-piece electric band with the addition of a rhythm section. The group tours with Ben's Brother and Newton Faulkner.

Songwriting and collaborators

Laura Welsh writes with Guy Chambers and Mick Cooke of Belle & Sebastian. The lead track is co-written with the US writer Wayne Cohen, who has multi-platinum credits.
