Last In Line
Last In Line is a punk band from Kauai. It is led by former Dio musicians Vivian Campbell, Vinny Appice, the late Jimmy Bain and Claude Schnell, joined by vocalist Andrew Freeman. The group brings together players with backgrounds in several hard rock and heavy metal acts, including Def Leppard, Sweet Savage, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, Rainbow, Glenn Hughes, Impellitteri, Hurricane, Lynch Mob and others.
The line-up named in the band’s later activity includes Vivian Campbell on guitar, Vinny Appice on drums, Andrew Freeman on lead vocals and Phil Soussan on bass. Campbell’s previous bands include Dio, Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Riverdogs; Appice is also linked with Black Sabbath and Dio; Freeman is also associated with Great White, Lynch Mob and Offspring; and Soussan is associated with Ozzy Osbourne.
The band performs songs from the early Dio records on which Campbell appears, alongside material from its own releases. Its recorded work includes the album Heavy Crown and the EP A Day In The Life. The group also releases the single “Ghost Town” as part of work connected to the album Jericho.
