Lanco
Lanco are a country band from Nashville, United States, active since 2012. The group takes its name from Lancaster and Company and is led by Brandon Lancaster on lead vocals. The line-up also includes Chandler Baldwin on bass guitar, Jared Hampton on keyboards and banjo, Tim Aven on guitar, and Tripp Howell on drums.
Career
The band forms in 2015 and later signs to Arista Nashville after meeting producer Jay Joyce at a Keith Urban concert and then joining his publishing company. Under that label they release their debut four-song EP, Extended Play, and their first single, “Long Live Tonight”. Their song “Greatest Love Story” appears in the Netflix series The Ranch and in season 22 of ABC’s The Bachelor, and it reaches number one on both the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts at the end of 2017. Their third single, “Born to Love You”, follows in December 2017 and appears on their debut album, Hallelujah Nights.
Hallelujah Nights is released in January 2018 and debuts at number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, with first-week sales of 13,000 copies and 19,000 album-equivalent units. After a run of non-album singles, the band self-releases the EP Honky-Tonk Hippies. They later issue “Low Class Lovers” and play a 30-date tour. In 2023, the band signs with Riser House Records and releases the EP Run, Run, Baby, followed by a Fall tour.
Tours and collaborations
Lanco tour with Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley and Kane Brown. Their recorded work and live activity place them within contemporary country, with alt-country and pop influences also associated with the band.
Personal lives
Brandon Lancaster marries Tiffany in September 2017, and they have two children, Elora and Ezra. Chandler Baldwin marries Natalie on Christmas Eve 2016 and has a daughter born in 2021. Jared Hampton marries Autumn in November 2017. Tripp Howell is married to his high school sweetheart and has a son born in 2021.
