Lakeway

Lakeway is a Ukrainian indie-pop group based in Kyiv. It forms in late 2013 as a trio of three best friends, and later continues as a duo made up of Alex and Dima.

Style and activity

The band works within indie-pop and is described as an indie act with a young profile in Ukraine. It appears among major Ukrainian festivals and radio stations and has two EP releases, both of which place in Ukrainian indie charts.

Members

At one point the group includes Dima Plakhotnii on vocals and Sasha Gulenko on guitar and synths. In autumn 2015 it becomes a duet consisting of Alex and Dima, and starts recording a third album.
