Lack The Low is the solo project of Melbourne composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Kat Hunter. The project works across indie pop, alternative and electronic influences, with chamber pop elements and a math-inspired experimental approach. Its sound combines high, Thom Yorke-like vocals with dense instrumental arrangements and triggered brass, drawing comparisons to Joanna Newsom and late-period Bon Iver.

The project is based in Melbourne.
