La La Love You
La La Love You is a pop punk and indie rock band from Parla, Madrid, Spain. The group forms in 1996 with Roberto Amor, David Merino and Rafa Torres. It first writes songs in English, with influences from bands such as The Ramones, before later moving to Spanish-language material.
The band name refers to The Pixies song of the same name. The current lineup includes Roberto Amor, David Merino, Mía Berlín and Oscar Hoyos.
La La Love You releases three albums: Umm... Que rico!, La La Love You and Blockbuster. Their single “El fin del mundo” becomes a major success and earns triple Platinum certification. In 2009, the band places third in the Eurovision pre-selection gala.
