La Chiva Gantiva
La Chiva Gantiva is a Belgian band from Brussels, active since 2003. The group is mainly made up of Colombian musicians and builds its sound around afro-Colombian music, combining it with elements drawn from rock, funk and other modern styles.
The band develops its own live identity through frequent performances in Belgium and elsewhere in Europe. Its music is described as rooted in afro-Colombian traditions while also drawing on broader Latin and jazz influences.
