Kyshido is London based producer and DJ Anthony Kyshido, working in drum and bass and related liquid funk, atmospheric and dnb styles. He has training in jazz piano and classical violin from the age of six, and his early musical direction is shaped by soul, Chicago house and later jungle.

Career

After years spent developing his studio work and DJing, Kyshido sends his first demo to Propa Talent and is signed by DJ Rap. His track “Rai” is then chosen by Grooverider for his first BBC Radio 1 appearance back on air with Fabio.

He is featured as one to watch on BBC1Xtra and remixes Sony act The Milk. His music also receives support from DJs including Laurent Garnier and airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6, Bassdrive, Ibiza Global Radio and Kool FM.

Releases and labels

Kyshido releases music on Urban Torque, LDNB Music, Liquid Drumz and other labels. His work sits within the liquid side of drum and bass, with the stylistic tag suggesting an atmospheric approach as well.
