Kumbia All Starz
Kumbia All Starz is a cumbia and latin group from Texas and Mexico, created by A.B. Quintanilla. The group is based in Corpus Christi, Texas, and includes PeeWee as a member.
Background
The group forms after A.B. Quintanilla leaves Kumbia Kings and starts Kumbia All Starz in 2006. It is not the same act as Los Kumbia Kings, although some of its members come from that earlier group. Several members of Kumbia All Starz and Los Super Reyes are formerly together in Kumbia Kings.
Debut album and chart success
Its debut album, From KK to Kumbia All-Starz, reaches number one on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and Top Latin Albums chart, and number 68 on the Billboard 200. The album produces two charting singles: "Chiquilla", which reaches number seven on Hot Latin Tracks, number nine on Latin Regional Mexican Airplay, number 26 on Latin Pop Airplay and number 31 on Latin Tropical Airplay, and "Parece Que Va A Llover", which reaches number 33 on Latin Regional Mexican Airplay.
