Krush

Krush is a UK techno and house group best known for House Arrest (The Beat Is Law), a sample-based dance track that becomes a major crossover hit in 1987 and reaches number 3 on the UK Gallup Top 40 in December that year. The group consists of Cassius Campbell, Mark Gamble and vocalist Ruth Joy, with Mark Brydon and Robert Gordon credited as producers. A second single, Walking On Sunshine, appears as a club hit in 1992.

House Arrest is regarded as an early example of British house music alongside releases by artists such as Bomb the Bass and S-Express, and it later appears on numerous compilation albums. Brydon later works as a producer with the house act Moloko. The name is also used by other unrelated acts, including a 1990s metal/thrash band from San Diego and a mistagged old crustcore band from Holland.
