Kristine Blond is a Danish singer known for pop and UK garage-inflected electronic music. She grows up in the Danish countryside in a musical family, with both parents teaching and performing music, and she also spends time learning the violin before turning seriously to singing at 16. Her early life includes horses, friends, pets and travel around Europe through her parents’ work.

In her late teens she leaves home and school for Copenhagen in order to work with people she can collaborate with musically and on the business side. At 19 she signs her first record deal with an English label and records an album with producers including Narada Michael Walden, Ric Wake and Peter Wolf. The album is not issued in full because of record-company politics, but she does release several singles on a smaller label, and these become chart and club hits.

She later signs a second record deal and records another album produced by the Danish team Cutfather&Joe. Singles from that project gain radio play in Denmark, England, Germany and the Netherlands. After years of promotional work, she turns more seriously to songwriting, writing both alone and with co-writers. Her later work is described as moving towards a more personal musical style, and she continues to work on new material with Michael Mendel Stern, who co-writes and produces with her.
