Krakota

Krakota is a drum and bass artist from Bournemouth. He begins making music at 15 and develops his work through mixing, producing and DJing within the genre.

Releases and labels

He releases material on a range of respected labels and later signs exclusively to Hospital Records. His debut release is on CIA, and his debut album, Strange System, arrives in 2016.

Support and recognition

His music receives support from BBC Radio 1’s Friction, High Contrast, Klute, Doc Scott and Danny Byrd. As a performer, he appears at festivals including Glastonbury, Let It Roll and Outlook, and he also plays regularly in cities such as Prague and Amsterdam, as well as across the UK.

DJ and production work

Krakota’s production work matches his DJ skills, and his mixes draw on a wide record collection. He uses a three-deck home studio set-up and is described as working crowds effectively in both club and festival settings.
