Koyo

Koyo are a US punk rock band from Stony Brook, New York, active since 2019. The group is made up of Sal Argento, Joey Chiaramonte, Harold Griffin and TJ Rotolico, and records for Pure Noise Records.

Style and formation

The band plays within emo, hardcore punk, melodic hardcore, pop punk and punk rock. They form around a hardcore punk background and are described as having started as a supergroup, with vocalist Joey Chiaramonte coming from Typecaste and the project also including members associated with SeeYouSpaceCowboy.

Releases

Koyo release their debut EP, Painting Words Into Lines, in 2020. They sign to Pure Noise Records in 2022 and issue the three-song EP Call It Off later that year. Their debut studio album is Would You Miss It?.
