Kormac

Kormac is a Dublin, Ireland DJ, producer and band leader. He works between his studio in Dublin and regular touring across Ireland, the UK and mainland and Eastern Europe. His performances include DJ sets, audio-visual shows and appearances with his own 11-piece group, Kormac’s Big Band.

Releases

He begins releasing as a solo artist in 2007 with the Scratch Marchin' EP on Scribble Records. Other solo releases include the Good Lord and Showtime EPs. He later issues the album Word Play on Scribble Records in 2010, and also releases the Word Play EP. His track Superhero features author Irvine Welsh.

Collaborators and personnel

Word Play includes contributions from DJ Yoda, Koaste of Black Grass, DJ Cheeba of Solid Steel/Ninja Tune, Messiah J and The Expert, and MC Little Tree. Kormac’s Big Band is his 11-piece ensemble.
