Koreless

Koreless is Lewis Roberts, an electronic music producer and recording artist from Bangor, United Kingdom, and is based in Glasgow. His music is associated with electronic, electronica and IDM, and he is also tagged with future garage, dubstep, 2-step and UK garage.

Career

Koreless is active from the early 2010s and releases work under his own name. In 2011 he issues his debut EP, 4D, on Pictures Music as a limited-edition 12-inch single. In July 2012 he releases the single “Lost In Tokyo” on Jacques Greene’s label, Vase Records.

He takes part in the Red Bull Music Academy Summit in New York in 2012. That same year, he works with London producer and vocalist Sampha as Short Stories. The pair first present “Let It Go” in a Boiler Room TV DJ set in December, and follow it with “On The Way”, released in January 2013 on Young Turks.

Releases and collaborations

Koreless releases the EP Yügen in 2013 on Young Turks. The EP is introduced with the track “Sun”, and another track from it, “Never”, appears in Jason Reitman’s 2014 film Men, Women & Children. In December 2013, he signs to Young Turks. He later appears on a track from labelmate SBTRKT’s second studio album, Wonder Where We Land.
