Konchordat

Konchordat is a London-based progressive rock group associated with neo-progressive rock and progressive metal. The line-up includes Stuart Martin on vocals, guitars and keyboards, Steve Cork on bass, Taurus pedal, keyboards and piano, Neil Hayman on drums and percussion, and Neil Wats on keyboards.

Music and style

The group’s sound combines neo-prog with a harder-edged rock approach. Its influences range from Genesis, Rush and Queen to Dream Theater, Queensrÿche and It Bites. The hard rock side is especially evident in tracks such as “Panic Room”, “Scars Inside” and the 14-minute title track “The New Crusade”, while the music retains a strong progressive rock character.

Konchordat’s second album, The New Crusade, is released in August 2011.
