Kola

Kola is a name used by several different acts and artists. One is Anastasia Prudius, also known as Анастасія Прудіус, a popular Ukrainian singer from Kharkiv. Another is an improvisational avant-garde group based in Helsinki, Finland, whose performances are largely improvised and draw on free-jazz, punk and contemporary composition. That group consists of Matti Luokkanen on saxophone, Jussi Mutenia on trumpet and Eki Vikman on drums.

Other artists using the name

The name is also used by a rock band from Istanbul, Turkey; an American pop artist; a Korean pop group that debuts in the mid-1990s and releases albums in 1996 and 1997 before later disbanding; and KOLA, a Canadian producer based in Montreal whose music combines electronic, R&B, soul and funk influences. The Korean group includes a member known as Song, who later becomes a social media influencer and sells beauty products.

The name Kola is also associated with an act from Hawaii.
