Knights

Knights are a rock band from Austin, Texas, formed around the songwriting of Nick Longoria, who sings and plays guitar and piano. The group’s line-up includes Joseph Longoria on vocals and bass and Casey Etienne on drums.

The band’s music combines progressive rock with classical and electronic dance elements, and is described as pairing dynamic vocals with strong lyrics. Knights also place emphasis on energetic live performance and on carrying that feel into their studio recordings.

Releases and activity

Knights release their first EP, Age of Revolution, in 2009. They tour for the first time in 2011, playing dates in Texas, Mississippi and the north-east of the United States, including New York, New Jersey, Vermont and New Hampshire.

After that tour, the band records and writes a first full-length album, Dark Matter, which appears in 2013. The album contains 12 songs, is self-produced, and is recorded in Austin at The Bubble with Alex Lyon.
