Kish Mauve

Kish Mauve is an electro-pop duo from the United Kingdom, based in London and formed in 2005. The group consists of Mima Stilwell on vocals and Jim Eliot on synthesiser and vocals.

Releases

Their first release is the self-titled Kish Mauve EP in 2005. This is followed by the singles “Modern Love” in 2006, “Lose Control” in 2008, and the double A-side “Come On”/“Morphine” in 2009.

Their debut album, Black Heart, is released in 2009 and is influenced by Grace Jones, Eurythmics and Tom Tom Club.

Style

The duo plays electronic and synthpop-influenced music, described as “tongue in chic” pop. Their work is presented as both a sonic and visual project.
