Kiran Leonard

Kiran Leonard is a musician and composer from Greater Manchester, based in Oldham. He makes a wide range of music and begins doing so from an early age, including work released under the name Pend Oreille. He later treats much of this early material as demos or juvenilia.

Since Bowler Hat Soup, released in 2011, he releases albums under his own name. His work moves between different approaches and uses changing backing bands. He also organises his output into five “strands” on his website, covering material he describes as fixed, improvised and live recordings, as well as other related forms of his catalogue.
