KiNK

KiNK is the recording name of Strahil Velchev, a house and techno artist from Bulgaria. He works in acid techno and acid house, and also explores experimental styles.

Career

His first release, Same ol' thing, appears on the UK label Odori and reaches the house charts on several online vinyl shops. He gains support from Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Surgeon and Modeselektor. His work also includes tracks for major labels such as Ovum.

Mixes and production

In 2009, tinnitus makes DJing difficult for a period, and he focuses on producing tracks. During that time he also creates Taped in 2009, which is named Resident Advisor's mix of the day on 31 December 2009.
