King Parrot

King Parrot is a grindcore band from Melbourne, active since 2010. The group works in a thrash-influenced grind style and includes Ed Lacey, Matt Young, Slatts Everyday, Andrew “Squiz” Squires and Todd Hansen.

The band draws on the experience of members who have also played in a number of other Australian metal and hardcore acts, including Blood Duster, Dreadnaught, Watchdog Discipline, Cockfight Shootout, Stiff Meat and Mustang. King Parrot is associated with Candlelight Records.
