Kid Drama is one of the production aliases of Damon Kirkham, a UK electronic artist. He is also part of the now-defunct duo Instra:mental, which splits in 2011; the other member is Alex Green, who also records as Al Bleek and Boddika.

Sound and style

Kid Drama’s tracks sit around the 170 BPM range and are often associated with a revival of the “Autonomic” sound. The project is linked to drum and bass, drumstep, jungle and liquid funk. Kirkham also uses the Jon Convex alias for a different electronic style centred around 140 BPM.
