Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts

Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts is a project led by Kevin Martin, who is better known as the lead singer of Candlebox. By 2005, Martin is recording and performing under the Hiwatts name.

Background

Martin’s earlier band, Candlebox, is known for its live performances and for an eight-year career that includes touring with Living Colour, The Flaming Lips, Our Lady Peace, Rush, Henry Rollins and Metallica. Candlebox also appears on the main stage at Woodstock ’94 and performs repeatedly on the David Letterman show.
