Kate Hall

Kate Hall is a British-Danish singer from Harwich, England. Born in 1983, she moves to Allerød in Denmark when she is three years old. She has an English mother and a Danish father.

Early training and television work

As a child, Hall studies singing, piano and dancing. At the age of twelve, she is accepted into the Danish Radio Girls’ Choir, and a year later she makes studio recordings for Postman Pat. She also appears as a television presenter on The Voice TV Danmark.

Popstars and solo recordings

Hall reaches the final of the Danish edition of Popstars, where she finishes third. After being discovered by German producer Alex Christensen, she reaches the German charts with the single “Is There Anybody Out There?”, which he produces. She later continues as a solo singer.

Collaborations and other work

Hall is engaged to singer Ben and in 2007 they release the duet singles “Bedingungslos”, “Du bist wie Musik”, “Ich lieb dich immer noch so” and “Zwei Herzen” together as Kate & Ben. She also works as a vocal coach in the seventh series of the German edition of Popstars.
