KARD

KARD is a South Korean co-ed K-pop group from Seoul, South Korea, formed in 2016 and active under DSP Media. The group consists of BM, J.Seph, JIWOO and SOMIN. It is known for its four-member lineup and for working as a mixed-gender group in a scene where that format is less common.

Formation and debut

The group first appears under the name K.A.R.D, an acronym for King, Ace, JokeR and HiDden, before using the shorter name KARD. It officially debuts with the mini album Hola Hola. Before that debut, it releases three pre-debut singles: "Oh NaNa", "Don't Recall" and "Rumor".

Members

BM and J.Seph are part of the group’s core lineup, alongside JIWOO and SOMIN. Somin has also been associated with PURETTY and April before joining KARD.
