Kaia Kater

Kaia Kater is a Canadian singer-songwriter and banjo player from Montréal and Toronto. Her music draws on Old Time, blues, gospel and jazz traditions, and it sits within folk and related roots styles.

She releases a four-song EP in February 2012, and her debut album is Nine Pin. In 2016, she wins the “Pushing the Boundaries” award at the 12th Canadian Folk Music Awards for that album.

Kater also shares the stage with Rose Cousins, Matt Epp, Sheesham and the Sunparlour Players.
