K-Lacura

K-Lacura are a five-piece metal band from Didcot in Oxfordshire. The group plays a blend of metal styles and describes its sound as drawing on a range of influences within metal, hardcore and related rock forms. Their stated influences include Parkway Drive, Soilwork, Pearl Jam, Glamour of the Kill, Periphery, The Sorrow and Architects.

Line-up

The band line-up is Iann on vocals, Neil on rhythm guitar, Stoney on bass guitar, Phil on lead guitar and Lambo on drums.

Releases and recordings

K-Lacura release the album Portraits of the Faceless, which the band presents as a full listening experience. They also appear on the free compilation album City of Screaming Spires: Vol. 1 with the track “SHIAB”.

Live activity

The band plays both small local shows and larger support slots on the regional and national circuit. They have supported or played alongside Glamour of the Kill, Chthonic and Ghosts of a Thousand, including shows at the O2 Academy Oxford on Cowley Road. They also perform with bands they are close to within the local and national scene.
