Justyna Steczkowska

Justyna Steczkowska is a Polish singer, songwriter and occasional actress from Rzeszów, Poland. She works in pop and europop, and is associated with JS Music. She begins her musical career singing in rock and jazz bands before moving into wider public recognition through television and festival competitions.

Career

In 1994, she wins the first edition of the Polish talent show Szansa na sukces and receives the “Karolinka” award at the 31st National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. In 1995, she represents Poland in the 40th Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Sama” and finishes 18th out of 23 participants.

Recordings and releases

Since 1996, she releases 19 studio albums. This total includes 15 solo albums and four albums recorded in collaboration with other artists. She also composes and records the soundtrack for the film Na koniec świata.
