Justin Jay is a Los Angeles-born DJ and producer. He performs as Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage and works in bass house, bassline, breakbeat, breaks, club and dance music. He starts his music career from his freshman dorm room and is based in Los Angeles.

Style and influences

His music draws on soul, funk and jazz influences, which he folds into a house sound that ranges from deep house and breakbeat to techno. He is associated with a younger generation of the dirtybird roster and is described as the youngest member of that family.

Justin Jay has releases on dirtybird, Culprit, Southern Fried Records and Pets Recordings. His work gains support from Claude VonStroke, Jamie Jones, Disclosure, Tiga and George Fitzgerald, among others.
