Formation and releases

Their first album, Soul Science, appears in 2007 and wins awards for its blend of rock and African influences. Tell No Lies follows in 2009, and The Trance Sessions comes out in 2010. Their work draws on African, Arabic and Irish traditions alongside rock and blues.

Justin Adams

Adams is active in world music from the 1990s and works with Jah Wobble, Robert Plant, Natacha Atlas, The Festival of the Desert and Tinariwen. His guitar style combines elements of African, Arabic and Irish music with rock and roll and the blues.

Juldeh Camara

Camara is an African master musician and griot from traditional Fula society. He learns the ritti from his blind father, who is said to have learned directly from the djinn. His playing is linked to West African musical traditions and is also compared with Delta blues and the work of Ali Farka Touré.
