Jungle Jam
Jungle Jam is a rock band from the United States, active since 1993. The group forms in January 2005 and consists of Maria Rubanovskaya on vocals, Sergey Ivanov on drums, Gleb Oleynic on guitar and Pavel Azarov on bass.
Style and repertoire
The band plays a mix of rock and roll, black rhythm and blues, and British rock. Its performances include new arrangements of songs associated with Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Albert King, Depeche Mode, Queen, Ray Charles and Chuck Berry, among others.
Recognition
Jungle Jam receives the People’s Choice Award at the International Folk-Blues Festival Delta of Neva in summer 2005 and the Gold Medal at the same festival in 2006.
Activity
The group performs actively in clubs in Saint Petersburg.
