Juice Pops

Juice Pops are a Manchester quartet formed in 2018. Their music combines psychedelia, post-hardcore, garage rock, surf and power pop, with an emphasis on melody, contrast and layered arrangements. The band’s self-titled EP appears in 2021 and presents an early version of their sound, which the group later develops into a broader and more textured style.

Their recordings include the single The Death of Anne Boleyn, which receives national airplay after BBC Radio 6 presenter Tom Robinson describes it as a lo-fi earworm. Another single, Heavyweight Champion, is singled out by BBC Introducing Manchester for its blend of noise and bliss. Juice Pops’ debut album, Living Books, is due for release in January 2026 and is described as drawing on imagery of cathedrals, time machines, stargazing and literary ghosts, with twin guitars, vocal harmonies and vintage organ sounds.

As a live act, Juice Pops play venues including the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds and appear at festival dates such as the 2024 Truck Festival in Oxfordshire. They are presented as a band that continues to expand from bright, sunshine-pop beginnings into a more ambitious and intricate sound.
