Montreal native jsn [ say j-s-n really fast ] has been creating a musical ruckus since the tender age of 4 when he first layed his hands on an obnoxious toy organ. Ever since, jsn has pursued his melodic enquiries by experimenting with micro sampling, drum machines, sequencers and his trusty slew of guitars and stomp boxes.
A winner of the Creative Commons & Wired Magazine's Fine Art of Sampling contest in 2005, jsn landed a coveted spot on The Wired CD -- Ripped. Mixed. Sampled. Mashed. Shared. jsn's track "Counterfeit Funk (The Open Source Conspiracy)" debuted in South Beach Miami during the M3 Music Summit.
