Joti Sidhu

Joti Sidhu is a British psychedelic trance artist and one of the early figures associated with the genre. He begins making music in 1992 and first issues tracks under the name Ayahuasca, working with Dino Psaras and Steve Ronan.

Ayahuasca and Psychaos

After leaving Ayahuasca, he starts his solo project Psychaos. The first release under that name, Psychaos, appears on Tribal Science on New Concept in Dance in 1995. This marks a point where his profile in the scene grows, with the music reaching audiences through outdoor parties and events in different locations around the world.

Atomic Records and later releases

In 1998, he helps establish Atomic Records in Brighton, UK, with Psychaos as the label’s first release. He becomes one of the label’s stronger-selling artists and develops a recognisable style across a series of releases, including Intellect on TIP, Perception of Reality on Acid, Chaos to Order on Transient, Creative Anomaly on Atomic, and the solo album Cause and Effect on Atomic.
