Jorn Van Deynhoven
Jorn van Deynhoven is a trance producer and DJ based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He works in trance, progressive trance, uplifting trance and melodic trance, and is also known for his DJ sets and radio guest mixes.
Remixes and production work
He remixes artists including ATB, Blank & Jones, Hemstock & Jennings, Roger Shah, Lange and Jan Johnston. He remixes Jan Johnston twice in succession and, with his studio partner and friend Joshua Cunningham, wins the MySpace Remix Contest for ATB’s “Desperate Religion”. He also creates the official rework of Blank & Jones’ “The Hardest Heart”, with Anne Clark and Joshua Cunningham, for the album Monument.
In addition to his credited releases, he also works as a background producer for other artists.
DJ sets and radio appearances
As a DJ, he is noted for precise and creative turntable work. He presents guest mixes on radio shows including Tiësto’s Clublife 096, Paul van Dyk’s Vonyc Sessions and Solarstone’s Solaris International, as well as other programmes.
Scene support
His remixes and releases receive support from artists including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Alex Morph, Judge Jules, Mike Shiver, Niklas Harding, Solarstone, Jon O’Bir and Mark Eteson.
