John Paul White
John Paul White is an American singer-songwriter from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. His work is associated with americana, country, and folk, and he uses the acoustic guitar as a main part of his songwriting, sometimes adding melodic electric guitar lines.

White is one half of The Civil Wars, alongside Joy Williams. The duo wins a Grammy Award and becomes the best-known part of his career.
