John Ball
John Ball is a Czech hardcore and screamo group associated with emotive hardcore and punk. The band first performs in 2004 and gives its last show in 2007.

The group consists of Jumper, Tom, Roman and Kuba.
Releases
John Ball records Society vs. Community, which appears on CD through Self-Titled Demo Records and Proxima Records from Moscow. It also appears on cassette through In Our Hands Recs. in cooperation with Czech label OVxHC, and on 12-inch vinyl as a split with Vas Szuszanne, issued with Samuel Records, Trapped Inside, Olga Hepnarová and Misanthrope Recs.
Activity and connections
The band plays shows outside the Czech Republic and shares performances with groups and audiences in Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Italy and France. In 2009, the members come together again for a short run of six gigs after a wedding party. Roman and Jumper later continue playing together in Gagarin / Gagarin (CZ).
