John Allen

John Allen is a singer-songwriter from Hamburg, Germany, working in a folk and acoustic style. His music is influenced by artists including Tom Waits, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, as well as Chuck Ragan, Frank Turner and The Gaslight Anthem.

He releases his debut album, Sounds of Soul and Sin, in 2013, followed by Sophomore in 2014, Orphan Keys in 2015, Ghosts in 2016, Friends & Other Strangers in 2019 and (Love) Letters in 2022.

Since 2021, he is part of The Campfire Camaraderie, a collaboration with Linda Rum, Katharina Milchrahm of NAPAEA and Jens Haraldson. He is also a member of Stunt Kites.
